1. Lift Won’t Operate
- Light Curtain Obstruction:
Check if something (like a bag or an arm) is blocking the light curtain. Clear the area and ensure nothing blocks the light curtain while in use.
-Key Switch Off: Turn the key to the "on" position (horizontal).
-Emergency Stop Button Activated: Turn Emergency button clockwise until it pops out. Reset the lift by switching the key off and on.
-Door Latch Issue: Adjust your position or gently move the lift cab door. If it doesn’t work, call Upside Home Lifts for help.
-Main Power Off: If the ceiling light at the rear of the lift is off, there may be a power outage. The emergency battery will lower the lift. Wait for power to return for upward movement.
2. Lift Cab Moves on Its Own
-Remote Control Activation: Keep remotes in safe places at each landing to prevent accidental activation.
3. Lift Won’t Move Up or Down
- Obstruction Underneath: Check for and remove anything blocking the lift.
-Power Outage: Wait for the power to return
4. Remote Control Not Working
-Low Batteries: Replace with three AAA batteries.
-Too Far Away: Ensure you are within 10 feet of the lift for the remote to work.
5. Door Won’t Open
-Lift Not Aligned with Landing: Use the buttons or remote to align the lift with the floor.
